On May 13, 2024, our center organized a 'Child Neglect and Abuse Awareness Training' for healthcare personnel working in direct contact with children at the Gazi University Health Application and Research Center. The full-day training, which took place in five sessions, included two sessions titled 'General Information on Child Abuse and Neglect,' presented by our Center Director, Dr. Ahmet ÖZASLAN. Dr. Alper ÖZKÖK, a member of our center’s board of directors, shared his valuable insights during the session titled 'Legal Regulations on Child Sexual Abuse.' Our Deputy Director of the Center, SHU Nahide DOĞRUCAN, concluded the training with two afternoon sessions: 'Introduction and Operation of the Child Monitoring Center' and 'Possible Difficulties and Solutions Healthcare Personnel May Encounter in Child Neglect and Abuse.
