Mission In line with the core values of our university, our mission is to educate individuals; to contribute to the solution of societal problems and the lifelong learning process by producing ideas, knowledge, science, technology, and services at a universal level through research.

Core Values Gazi University, with the honor of hosting the first educational institution that trained the Republic’s pioneering teachers and the responsibility of being a research university, adheres to the following core values:

Child Protection Application and Research Center

Mission
With the aim of preventing child neglect and abuse, the center works in collaboration with the Department of Pediatric Health and Diseases, the Department of Child Psychiatry, the Department of Psychiatry, and the Department of Forensic Medicine. Through a multidisciplinary team approach, the center carries out the evaluation, treatment, and follow-up of children who have been neglected or subjected to physical, emotional, or sexual abuse.

Vision
Believing that working as a center will increase productivity, the center focuses on educational efforts for the community and professionals aimed at preventing abuse, raising awareness, and conducting research on the issue. It strives to provide not only micro-level interventions with neglected or abused children but also protective and preventive services for children, families, groups, and society at large, aiming to disseminate these services and create awareness.
